Read your statement

See your whole account - what was charged, what you paid, and the balance.

Start: your portal, Statement Result: you can see how your balance was arrived at.

Where an invoice is one month, the statement is the running account.

What is on it

Invoices charged, payments received, any late-payment interest, and the balance after each.

Reading a payment

A payment settles your balance, not one particular invoice. If you pay part of what is owed, the rest stays outstanding and interest may accrue on it.

Interest lines

Interest appears as its own line with the period it covers. Where it is still being calculated for the current month it is marked provisional - it becomes final when the statement is issued.

Use your payment reference on every payment. It is what matches your money to your account automatically; without it, someone has to place it by hand and it may take longer to reflect.
