Add a guarantor

Start: Properties›Guarantors Result: a guarantor who can be attached to a lease.

Steps

1. Go to Properties›Guarantors and choose Add Guarantor.
2. Enter their identity and contact details.
3. Where the guarantor is a company or trust, record its registered name, registration number and signatory.
4. Save.

Next

Attach them to the lease they are standing surety for - see attach a guarantor to a lease. Recording the person alone guarantees nothing.

If the guarantor is already an owner or tenant in your system, they keep that role. A guarantee is a relationship between a person and a lease, not a different kind of record.

Guarantors cannot be bulk-imported. There is deliberately no Import button rather than one that half-works.
